The Fibromyalgia Network is committed to improving the lives of patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and as part of this mission, we provide educational brochures, free-of-charge, to patients and healthcare providers.
Fibromyalgia — It’s REAL
A Patient’s Guide
Designed for recently diagnosed patients with fibromyalgia. Provides an explanation of what it feels like to have fibromyalgia and how this condition overlaps substantially with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), a description of common symptoms, how the diagnosis is made, and a general description of frequently prescribed therapies (both drug and nondrug). If you are hungry for knowledge beyond the basics of this syndrome, we strongly recommend that you become a Member of Fibromyalgia Network.
Patients may receive five copies of the brochure. Share them with your family, friends, and healthcare providers. Or, if you are looking for bulk quantities of brochures (e.g., healthcare providers or support group leaders), you can request multiples of 50. The brochures are free of charge; we only require a self-addressed envelope with affixed postage.
